Jerry Walker, CPA
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas Wesleyan University in 1991 with a B.B.A. in Accounting, Jerry Walker worked for the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand. He served as a financial statement auditor, an information systems auditor, and computer consultant. It was during his tenure with C&L that he received his license as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. Later, he served as a tax preparer and computer consultant for a local accounting firm. In 1996 he started his own firm to provide solutions for small businesses and tax preparation for individuals. Jerry graduated from Millsap High School and is a lifelong resident of Parker County. Jerry and his family attend Beulah Baptist Church. Jerry enjoys hunting, snow skiing and spending time with his wife and children.
Clayton D. Coburn, CPA
Partner-in-Charge Business Clients
Clay provides accounting and tax services to business clients. He also provides on-site and in-office QuickBooks consulting and training. Clay is a lifelong resident of Parker County and attended Millsap High school. He then attended the University of Texas in Arlington and started working for the firm shortly after graduating with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 2005. Clay received his license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2014. He and his beautiful wife welcomed their first child in 2013 and their second child in 2016. They all attend Greenwood Baptist Church together. Clay also enjoys being outdoors, especially if it is astride a dirt bike.
Kevin Chessher, CPA
After graduating Magna Cum Laude with his BS and MS in Accounting from the University of North Texas in May of 1988, Kevin worked for the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young as an auditor. During his three years with Ernst & Young, he passed the CPA exam and earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant. After working in a small bank as an Investment and Banking Officer, Kevin spent the next 20+ years serving on the staff of two large churches. During this time, he also earned his MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas. Kevin began working with the firm in April of 2017.
Kevin married Cindy in June of 1989, and they have three children. He is a native Texan and has lived in Tarrant County since graduating from college. He and Cindy attend Eagles View Church in Lake Country. He enjoys playing tennis and softball and adventures with his family.
Bryan provides bookkeeping, payroll tax, and income tax services to businesses and individuals. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.B.A. in Finance and Texas A&M Commerce with his M.S. in Accounting. Bryan has years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and payroll services. He married his high school sweetheart in 2006 and they have a son and a daughter. Bryan enjoys golf, hunting, and spending time with his family watching his kids play youth sports.
Beth Buchanan, EA
Beth provides bookkeeping, payroll tax, income tax, and QuickBooks consulting/training services to businesses and individuals. She is also credentialed as an Enrolled Agent in order to represent tax clients before the IRS. She graduated from the Tarleton State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting.
Kelci serves as office manager for the firm, and she also provides tax preparation and bookkeeping services. Kelci graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2016 with her M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders. She worked for several years as a Speech-Language Pathologist before making the leap into the Accounting industry. Kelci was born and raised in Arkansas, but she’s truly Texan at heart. She and her husband have enjoyed living in Parker County since 2017, and they love to spend time outdoors with their dogs and horses.
Carey Anne Chessher
Carey Anne moved to Fort Worth and started working as the receptionist in 2019. She graduated from Clarks Summit University with a B.S. in Theological Studies and Counselling. Previously, she worked in Quebec, Canada as a missionary with Parole de Vie, working closely with French-speaking youth and organizing summer camps. Carey Anne enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling, cooking, and painting.
